COURSE DESCRIPTION

SWIM 1/4 mile
Starts at Oxnard Beach Park north of the Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Resort. The race begins on the sand with a short run into the water. For safety, lifeguards will decide swim direction around the buoys on race day. We anticipate calm conditions and a water temp of 68 degrees – wetsuits are recommended!!

BIKE 11.5 miles (Single Loop)

  • The Transition Area is now on the NORTH side of the Grass Domain. Bikes will exit the transition area and head straight for the Park's front entrance. The Bike Mount Line is just past the walking path. Once on your bike, there will be a MANDATORY 200 FOOT SLOW DOWN SECTION WITH NO PASSING. We got a lot of feed back from the athletes and we feel this will make leaving and entering the Park a lot safer for all participants!

  • Right on Gonzales Road
  • Right (south) on Victoria. (Riders will be cautioned to slow down and not overtake one another!)
